Samsung appoints Lee Jong-yeol as its new leader

The Samsung Lions announced on the 16th that they appointed SBS Sports commentator Lee Jong-yeol as the new general manager.

Lee Jong-yeol, the new general manager, began his KBO career by joining the LG Twins in 1991. Since then, he played in 1,657 games in 19 professional seasons until 2009 and recorded 1,175 hits. In particular, when he was active, he played all infield positions and played as a switch heater.
